When I started researching the Crismond
Family, I only kept family information for those members that had
the exact spelling of our last name, however, over time, I've learned
from my Uncle Raymond Crismond and other researchers, that in the
early years of documentation, most people spelled phonically. Since
then, I've had to keep any information on any spelling that was
even close. This is one of the reasons it has become difficult to
link several of the various Crismond Families together. The following
