Colonial Forge High

The following students competed in the Scholastic Bowl District Tournament at Stafford High School: Jason Holder, Mike Essig,
Heather Benson, Carl Nasal, John Urban, Michelle Landrum, Janis Holcombe and Taryn Brice. The team won matches against
Brooke Point and Culpeper high schools.

Work and Family Studies students won three ribbons in the Gingerbread House Contest at George Washington’s Ferry Farm.
Contest winners were Melissa Sergent, Laci Vamosi, Dawn Crismond, Miriam Martin, Amy Wood, Heather Goding, Sean Henry,
Wilson Heflin, Jessica O’Connel, Cheri Pryor, Brandt Purvis and Jesse Shaffier.

SCA Student Senate officers and class representatives are: Brad Snyder, parliamentarian; Mike Essig, clerk; and Jeff Males and
Adam Garcia, sergeants-at-arms. Representatives are:

Senior class—Chester Rubo, Surmima Whitfield, Irvin Sawyer and Derek Mullins.

Junior class—Allan Paquette, Beth Zinger, Nate Parsons and Amy Messer.

Sophomore class—Katie McClusky, Travis Benson and Jessica House.

Freshaman class—Jon Poole, Evan Graham, Courtney O’Connel, K.C. Robinson and Nicole Childress.
